This 1 Pound DE Scoop helps you quickly measure the correct amount of D.E. for your filter
Most DE filters require 1 lb of D.E. (diatomaceous earth) for every 5 square feet of filter area.
How to use: Find the D.E filters sq. ft. area on the Pool filter label and divide it by 5 to determine how many scoops of D.E will be needed.
Example for use: with a 48 sq ft DE filter: 48 divided by 5 = 9.6 scoops D.E
